audigy 2 oem vs audigy LS

which is better....the audigy 2 sounds better because of the 2, but reading the audigy LS it is £1 more expensive hasve 24bit/96khz fiedlity , 106dB signal/noise and EAX 3

audigy two has the THX 6.1 and 64 hardware sounds oh and firewire

which is better

There is no LS. You are talking about the ZS. The ZS is better if you have speakers that need it. It is very very slightly better than the original Audigy 2 with 5.1.

There is an audigy 2 ls. Its the value version of the audigy 2. they are both good sound cards but the LS can't do EAX 4.0 and it also does EAX in software. not hardware like the normal audigy 2. If there are priced similarily, get the normal audigy 2.

There is an audigy 2 ls.
Just to clear up the fact that there is NO Audigy 2 LS; there only is an Audigy LS based on the original Audigy. IMO the LS is bad compared to the Audigy 2. Here a quick breakdown of the 2

Audigy 2
6.1
24/192 KHz
EAX 4.0 Support

Audigy LS
5.1
24/96KHz
Only Eax 3.0 support

Hope that helps

Woo!!! Well i was right and i didn't even know it lol.

Get the Audigy 2 though. Like i said before also if you have the speakers the ZS is your choice.
