Audigy 2 NX users, has anyone been able to navigate WinDVD using remote?

I much prefer WinDVD, less choppy DVD playback, built-in equalizer, etc.
But the remote doesn't do anything except LAUNCH the program, doesn't navigate DVD menus in WinDVD at all.

Am I doing something wrong or is this app. simply incapable of working with the Audigy remote?
