Audigy 2 (non ZS) any good?

I wanted to know if spending $55 dollars for a non ZS Audigy 2 was worth it. How does the Audigy 2 ZS compare to this card and would it be better to just go through the trouble and buy an audigy 2 zs for a little more after MIR?

There's not a whole lot of difference between the value and the zs. What are you hooking up to it?

I am going to hook up Logitech x-530's to the audigy 2. Im using integrated sound on an A8N-SLI Deluxe right now, and i just want better quality playback of music and games. The non ZS Audigy 2 that im thinking of buying is one that he pulled out from a dell computer. The audigy 2 zs that is $60 after MIR is at newegg.

I'd go with a value if you can get a good deal on it. At $35AR free shipping you're getting almost the same card for 1/2 the price of the zs version.

I have it and it was a huge improvment over my old sb Live! card. I would assume you would notice even a bigger differance over your onboard.

I have both, and now with X-fi.

Surely, ZS 2 is better than ZS.

You get what you pay for. The ZS will sound better, but coming from on board sound, the non ZS is gonna sound awesome. Either way will be a big stepup.
