Audible audio books

I joined audible to a few months ago to get their $100 off coupon on a portable media player. Anyway, I thought I wouldn?t use the audible service much, but I really got hooked on it. Downloading books and listening while at work works out great. I downloaded Al Gores new book and its so boring I cant even get half through it. I forgot how droll and painfully boring he can get in speeches, sometime.

But, I always wanted to read Uncle Toms Cabin, since it was the book that is said to have started the civil war. It was a hard listen, because its very long and jumps around a lot, but interesting.
Now I'm looking to something scifi, or horror or mystery that is really edge of your seat kinda stuff. I was going to download the original War Of The World, by HG Wells. Not sure.

Looking for recommendations of classic horror, classic scifi or a good mystery???

I found a good version of Arabian Nights on there that I am listing to now. I think they also have some audio Twilight Zone episodes.

They Day of the Triffids audio book was EXCELLENT and very long. Listened to it with my family over a couple trips up to NH
