Anybody else thinks this looks like a overgrown VW Beetle?

I like it, yet I despise the VW Beetle. There is a resemblance in the overall shape; its low and curvacious, but the Beetle overdoes the rotundity whereas the Audi opts for a sleeker look with more angles and sleek lines.

I think its a sweet car. It does resemble the Bug in a way. I think the bug is cute too, but i would never buy one.

I think it's one of the better-looking cars out there. I've had people point out that it looks like a silly extended beetle...but I don't see it.

If I had the money, I'd definitely be looking at buying one

Its pretty sharp, maybe a bit too bubbly looking, but the trim makes up for it. On the down site I sat in one and my eyes were above the window

I almost bought the 225hp 4wd version (opted not to because it just wasn't "practical" enough - got a lexus gs 300 instead) -
but i must say the TT was a magnificent ride -great acceleration, lots of road feel, stops on a dime. i didn't think it was a great car to have to drive to work everyday (you can tell i'm getting old) but it would make an ideal "weekend" car - gobs of fun to drive. and if it's a girl's car - that's the kind of girl i want to know!

In general, I think of the TT as someone like the Jennifer Lopez of cars.......looks pretty good, nice curves and whatnot, but if you get her running, the weight drags her down. Granted, the aforementioned 225 HP version is supposed to hit 60 in 6.7, but w/o that turbocharger, it's sluggish.

Still looks damn good.
