Hey all,
My car is going in for service, but figured I'd see if anyone here had an idea:
I have a new-ish 2014 A4 with just below 10k miles on it. When accelerating the car up a hill from a stop in sport mode, hard in the accelerator, in first gear the engine will nearly red line, then jerk into 2nd. From 2nd, it'll shift earlier but the jerk is worse here.
This is an A4 with the Tiptronic 8 speed transmission and AWD for whatever it's worth. Is this a problem with the ECU, or is this a mechanical problem in the transmission?
