Now that the A4 is absolutely huge and pushing into the mid- to high-$40s, Audi is prepping an A3 sedan for the US market. Looks to be about the size of of the old B5/B6 A4s, and will run off the next generation GTI chassis but with AWD (probably Haldex rather than the Torsen of the bigger A4). Considering that I'm already a huge fan of the current GTIs and the way they drive, this may have just become the replacement for my '08 TSX.

And on Audis, I actually like the huge snout. :D

It just blows my mind how much better Audis and BMWs are to every other car manufacturer. Better looking inside and out, better driving, more comfortable, etc.

I personally think it looks better than any BMW on the market today. I adored the E46 330i coupe, and the 335i looks slick also, but almost every other model in their line up in awkward and over-styled in my opinion.

I love the 2-door GTI. Was thinking about getting one of the new MKVIs, but I think I'll hold on to my TSX until this A3 sedan is around and about for a test drive.

Better looking? BMW doesn't have a chance, All Audis exactly the same - with variations on length and LED styles.

Driving? Porsche and others would have to laugh at you there.

Comfortable? Lexus. And tons of others.

If there's an A3 TDI sedan, that'll be my next car (assuming pricing is similar to the hatchbacks of now.) Just playing the waiting game now..

Well Porsche was also on my list. I guess my point was the Germans > everyone by a large margin. Lexuses are fugly and have poor driving dynamics.

A Lexus with a RWD setup is probably better dynamically by a longshot than an AWD Audi (unless we're talking small TT RS or R8), especially when setup with sporting intentions.

I wouldn't be surprised if the next generation Lexus IS based on Toyota FT-86 ends up destroying A3/A4 in handling and giving BMW a run for its money.

So you have to opinions and that somehow makes it true? GT-R has better driving dynamics than almost every German car besides maybe a Porsche that is twice as much. LFA is a gorgeous car and has great driving dynamics. What about the Mustang GT and 302 that can match the M cars? Step back into reality and realize that every manufacture makes great cars that compete.

good shape (oops wait every single sedan is shaped like that now). hideous random body lines, hideous wheels.
