I love it 🙂. There are quite few A3's in here and they are good, solid cars. the new one is considerably more aggressive-looking than the old model, and the interior is alot more "sporty". I'm aware that americans might not be that interested in this car, but it's quite popular in Europe.

Are we going to see an S3? RS3? quattro A3 (no, not A3 Quattro as in what they have now, but an A3 tuned by their 'quattro' performance group...jeez that's confusing!)

EDIT: WTF? Interior looks as basic as a Honda...strange since VW's are prized for their nicely appointed interiors (and this is an Audi!)

If u lived I Europe you had already seen them for years.... was a 4x4 210Hp Turbo 4banger was quite nice

dunno what to think of this one - looks almost exactly like the old one just facelifted

It kinda resembles Hyundai Accent, eh?

No. There might be something vagualy similar in the headlights, but there's alot more than just headlights in the design of a car.

Looks nice.. I'm a fan of hatchbacks.. so I'd be all over this rather than an A4.. 😀

S3 I hope would kick serious ass..

I wouldn't mind one of these with Quattro and a V6.

Edit: 3.2-litre V6, 177 kW (241 bhp), 320 Nm torque (from mid-2003)

European car mags state the 3.2 VR6 will have FSI and produce aroun 280Hp for the S3 variant. A later RS3 due toward the end of the product cycle will produce a twin turbo version of the motor producing around 350Hp.

I have a Golf V6 4Motion tho, and I can tell u that 200+ Hp and 4WD in a small hatch is a hoot...

Spruce it all all you want, but at the end of the day, it's still a freaking hatchback.

😕 your point? Hatches are very functional...

Yeah but the sad truth is that they are inevitably grouped with the likes of hyundais and focus hatchbacks. No matter how dressed up it is, the hatchback just cheapens the look.
