Hey guys, I listed some snowboard boots on yahoo auctions and this guy wont' pay up. He wanted to pay using a credit card and so he made me upgrade to a Premier PayPal account. He claimed for like 5 days that they woudln't let him pay using a credit card, but I just recieved a creditcard paypal payment and he's like forget you and stuff. Anyways what actions can I file against him? I already reported it to yahoo, but i have to have like a 20 day waiting period before I can escalate the complaint. Thanks guys.

He's Scott Kirklin, Vice President of Triad Research & Consulting Inc. Just wanted to get that out there because he's a troll...
Slander/libel suit FTW

So the guy is having problems using paypal and a credit card. Give him a bit of a break and see if there's another way he can pay you.

Yeah, QFT you should edit his name and the company name out of your post stat. And beg hjo3 to do the same

And there isn't really much you can do other than file a claim in small claims court in the state in which he lives. But even that probably won't net you anything

I don't take credit card payement and I won't upgrade my PP acct. If you don't have the money, don't bid on my sh1t. If you don't pay up, I'll report your ass. It's that simple.

Why don't you talk to the auction site as to what you can do about it?

That's what I get for skimming. Anyway, just wait for Yahoo. That's all you can do.

I remember from at least a few years ago that Yahoo doesn't charge a listing fee. Maybe you should just re-list the auction and be done with it. No use worrying about a worthless buyer.
