auction snipe

My friend suggested that i should use an auction sniper, however, i dont know much about them.

Can someone suggest an auction sniper program/website? does it cost money? what is the sucess rate of winning if using an auction sniper?

Why not set your max bid as what the max you are willing to pay? That way, you don't have to snipe an auction.

Sniping gets rid of the people that don't use the max-bid feature.

I've used Auction Sniper for @ 3 yrs. The first 3 succesfull snipes used to be free. I've won quite a few because "There was nobody else bidding". At least, that's what the losers told me.
