I want to set up an online auction place for a range of products that Ebay and other auction sites do not properly service.

Can anyone help me find/select a good open source type auction program or give me any useful advice on getting this up and running. I have the domain, the hosting, and the time to work on this but if I can draw from ATOT's collective knowledge I would be ahead of the game and also very thankful. :heart:

If anybody wants to help out on this(coding and whatnot) I will be sure and make it worth their while if I can make this fly. I am pretty sure this is a profitable idea and I have already laid a lot of groundwork for this project. 😉

I've spent over $50 million on this "concept" and pushed over a billion dollars through eBay. Trust me, you're not onto a good idea. Go do something else.

My vision is a fine concept. I am about to breakdown and pay for a $600 auction software package to prove it. It will probably be much cheaper this way anyway as when this thing makes money I will not "owe" anyone who helped me set up the simple software.

I am cursed with vision and additionally cursed with impatience and lack of funds.
