No more obnoxious LSU fans talking about how they are the team to beat this year. :disgust:

Edit: And so far Rix hasn't embarrassed FSU in our game against UAB (yet). Maybe this nay turn out to be a good weekend.

Well, I'm a UAB fan, so I'm glad we are making a game of it right now.

Looking at stats, I believe it is LSU who usually gets their ass beat.

Sure LSU leads the series 20-17-1, but counting games since Auburn - LSU became a yearly game in 1992 Auburn has a 8-5 record and LSU has only won 2 out of the last 6.

1992: AU, 30-28 at Auburn Sept. 19
1993: AU, 34-10 at Baton Rouge Sept. 18
1994: AU, 30-26 at Auburn Sept. 17
1995: LSU, 12-6 at Baton Rouge Sept. 16
1996: LSU, 19-15 at Auburn Sept. 21
1997: AU, 31-28 at Baton Rouge Sept. 20
1998: LSU, 31-19 at Auburn Sept. 19
1999: AU, 41-7 at Baton Rouge Sept. 18
2000: AU, 34-17 at Auburn Sept. 16
2001: LSU, 27-15 at Baton Rouge Dec. 1
2002: AU, 31-7 at Auburn Oct. 26
2003: LSU, 31-7 at Baton Rouge Oct. 25
2004: AU, 10-9 at Auburn, Sept. 18

BTW, I got this information from the LSU Athletic site gameday notes.

Even if the penalty wasn't called there isn't any proof that LSU would have won in OT. Auburn's problem wasn't the kicker, but rather bad snaps(two of them). I wasn't aware of the rule either, but LSU can only get lucky so much. OSU missed three, and then I'm not going to get into the safety Auburn had(you can't hold in the endzone).
