Hey,

Can anyone recommend an ATX2.0 powersupply [300-400watts], just picked up a NF4 mobo and I only have ATX 20 pin powersupplies 🙁.

Know anything a little lower in price? I'm only using a amd64 3000+/6600gt/512 ram.

Also is there anyway to use a 20 pin on a 24 pin slot?
 
Be sure to search the forum about those. Some have had issues with them.

This should powert your rig with power to spare. Headroom is good, especially if you ever want to overclock.

I wouldn't try to go cheaper than that though. You get what you pay for. A $40 psu labeled as a higher wattage likely has inflated specs.
 
The 20-pin goes in against one end (if you have it in right, it will seat to the bottom) - not in the middle - the orange wires end of the 20-pin plug should be tight against one end (leaving 4-contacts open on the other end) and the latches of both plug and socket must be on the same side - latches may not line up properly, use a couple dabs of hot glue to hold it in place. Or you can get a 20-24wire adapter (~ $4. on newegg).

Everything starts up except for the harddrive. Any suggestions?

Ribbon I had it plugged into the center of the board, it wouldn't go down all the way but the fan started up (which was the only thing I had attached to the mobo at the time). I don't think it killed the mobo.
