ATX12V V2 vs EPS12V vs ATX-GES

I had bought a "refurb" (it was a return) from newegg of the Enermax EG651P-xx power supply think it was the FC (fan control) version. A WHILE back! It was missing the EPS12V to ATX 20pin adapter in the box so I never used it. There is a EPS12V to ATX-GES (AMD) adapter in the box.

I just ordered an ASUS A8N-SLI Deluxe with a 24pin power supply connector. I'm told it's a ATX 12V V2 connector. Is this compatible with either the EPS12V or ATX-GES 24 pin on that power supply that's been sitting in the closet??

I'm having to buy processor, fan, and a new video card, so I'd like to no have to buy a new power supply too and put this piece to work...

Sorry if this is a stupid question... my first venture into the AMD world since the K5 days... so take it easy on me.

I just had to replace my Antec Neopower PSU on my A8N-SLI rig. Needed the computer right away so I put in the best thing the local techs recommended and could sell me on the spot. It is a 460W EPS12V server-class PSU, and it works fine (just needed to dig out that PCI-E power adapter for my 6800GT since this supply didn't have one standard).

So EPS12 is compatible, and this one actually runs much tighter voltage (11.98-12.032v, 4.92-5.02v, 3.28-3.3v) than my Antec (which stayed around 11.7 and 3.25 or so). I was told that the EPS12 standard requires much more solid voltage and lifespan since it is intended for servers, but I don't know the details.
