ATX power switch w/o mobo

I have a "stand-alone" cd duplication controller that uses a 4-pin molex power connector. I also have an ATX power supply I'm trying to use with it, but obviously I'm having a little trouble getting it to power up without installing a motherboard in the case, thereby defeating the purpose of being "stand-alone". I've searched around but haven't found any hardware piece for just an atx power connector and a 2 pin connector for an atx power switch. Anybody have any ideas on how I can pull this off?

Paperclip.

Short the green wire to one of the black wires. It will complete the circuit and turn on the power supply. Or you can wire in a switch from radio shack...a SPST switch would be what you need.

Another way is to use an old AT PSU. They still sell them ar repair shops.

Get an ATX 24p extension cable, cut the other end off, and remove all of the cables except the green and a black one. Solder in a switch, and you're golden.

I think that's probably the way I'll go. I would use an AT power supply, but I'm having a hard time finding one with a high enough power rating. I'm going to need a good 400+ watts to safely run 9 cdrw's, 1 cd-rom, 1 hard drive, and the controller.
