ATX motherboards vs their mATX counterparts

I'm starting on the design of a new custom case, and the MicroATX boards fit the specifications perfectly. I'm wondering if there is any performance disadvantage mATX boards have versus their full sized counterparts. Besides the 2 or 3 less PCI slots, is there any REAL difference? I doubt the majority of users even utilize more than 3 PCI slots, so I think this solution would be perfect for me.

I'm generally looking at the following boards:
Asus P4TE/Asus P4TEM
Asus P4333/Asus P4333-VM
MS-6547 Ultra/MS-5333

Thanks!

I was thinking about the Asus P4S333-M but someone here said it lacks voltage adjustment -something I would like to confirm with each of those you listed.

That model has 3/6 PCI but really only loses 2 due to onboard LAN. It also has 2/3 DIMM slots but that's not much of a limitation either. You may want to wait a few weeks for the new SiS P4 DDR boards.

Me too until I learned of a defective temp sensor in the design. Still wondering if it has been fixed in a later revision. The limited voltage adjustments did not seem much of an issue either, at least if just planning on the 1.6A.
