ATX mid tower vs ATX

Hi, my current motherboard is an MircoATX, and was thinking of replacing my current case with a ATX mid tower. will my MircoATX fit onto a ATX mid tower case or an ATX case?

Depends on the case. Most I've bought are punched out for matx and atx as well as some huge board I'm not familiar with! Anyway if you want to be sure, contact the supplier before you buy.

I've used and tested many MATX boards in ATX midtowers and have not yet found one that wouldn't fit. Sometimes the board will have a mounting hole or two that doesn't have a place to mount in the mobo tray, but it's always been easy to ignore it or use a plastic mount. No guarantee, however.

If you look at the pics of the case in question at Newegg, you should be able to see if there are extra holes for different size boards. Of course, size shouldn't be an issue, just if a couple of holes are there to mount it.

Generally speaking, the answer should be yes. So long as the case is based on the ATX standard. That's why it is a standard, so that boards that follow the standard will fit. The only issue would be the I/O backplate and making sure you have one that fits the board.
