Anyone seen anything like this floating around or will I have to make my own?
I just bought a mATX psu to upgrade a HP and the case has been fighting me all the way.

I want to just get a cheap case for this thing and be done with it, but all the mATX cases are set up for full size 4 screen ATX psus... ?

It's a typical mATX/SFF PSU 2" x 4.5" x 5" or something like that.

This looks like it will do it, thanks alot!

Directron.com has a mATX Compaq case with power supply and floppy drive for $25. No need to fiddle with a power supply since it is already included and installed.

No thanks, I've had it with HP/Compaq...

The reason I thought I could do this upgrade was because the board and PSU were both mATX spec. Turns out the memory sockets (which appear to be the same on all mATX boards) are in a spot where the retention clips are 1 mm to close to the riveted in drive cage...

So what started as a fun project to upgrade a POS for $200 ended up being a new system anyway...

FYI: for that ~ $200

Original:

800 Mhz Celeron socket 370 @ 100 Mhz bus
128 MB PC100
Intel 810 chipset with onboard video and no AGP
100 wt PSU

Upgraded:

1333 Mhz Athlon tbird $39
Asus mATX KM400 board AGP 8x $50
256 MB PC3700 $28
GeForce FX 5200 128 MB $59
230 watt mATX psu $16

Was just for kicks, so now we have another stand in system that can now run Warcraft 3, UT2003, Q3A, Zero Hour, etc.... prior it could not run so much as counter strike without looking like crap and getting 10 fps.

I normally only build high end systems, so I couldn't resist the challenge of making this a viable gaming machine for as little money as possible :)

Now I'm just going to get a case from newegg for like $13 and a new hard drive to replace this POS bigfoot and shes giving the HP to her parents.
