wanted to see how much shipping was- added the case to the cart, it wouldn't put it in the cart unless i added the $3.99 fan- anyone else have that problem?

Really not too bad of a case. I bought one for $45.00 (with the 300W supply) for a system I was building having a 600Mhz (overclocked to 800Mhz) Duron and an Epox 8KTA2+ motherboard. I got the case at a local Computer Renaissance store. They didn't have the case with the 345W AMD approved supply though.

The case is very convenient and easy to operate. Screwless covers and the rails for the drives have little hooks that hook into the screw holes in the drives. Then, the device is slid into place and locks in. The only thing I'm concerned with is the fact that some of the rail hooks don't fit 100% and that I may be stripping the screw holes. Hasn't been a problem yet.

The case doesn't really look too Imac. I bought one which was a smoky gray color and I think it's not too bad looking. I recommend it based on build quality, price and appearance.

I just picked one of these cases up last week when this deal was posted. Shipping for an ATX case (got the silver/blue case) with the 300 W PS upgrade was just under $55, and it was here the next day!! They are located in NJ, so if you are in the Northeast you will get it rather quickly.

IMO, this is a great case for most people. The front panel pops off, then the side panels pop off, completely screwless as far as that goes. The only thing you need screws for is the motherboard and you're respective PCI/AGP/ISA cards. Drives are screwless as well with pop-on rails that are surprisingly sturdy. There is a spot for an 80 MM case fan in the lower front of the case, but there is not one for the rear of the case, though I managed to mount one there with the help of my trust drill (took 30 seconds).

It's now the new home for my BH6 and celeron 600@900Mhz. Air flow has been great in this case, so heat has not been a problem, and on top of that, it just looks good!!

Hope this gives you all a better idea of this case :)

These guys used to sell on eB@y before they got BANNED for some reason...they got kicked off just as one of their auctions I was bidding on was about to end. They never answered my e-mail when I sent an offer after their auction I was bidding on got killed. And I noticed they got some mixed reviews and a few negative feedbacks before eB@y took it all down.

Then I decided to call them up after reading a previous Anandtech Hot Deal thread about them here, but you know, to me they seemed really sleazy, trying to nickle-and-dime extra charges onto the deal. I just decided I didn't want to deal with clowns like this, and instead I bought a case for $23 + 18 shipping to NYC here. Not a name brand, but I had no problems at all installing and running my celeron 500 in it. Looks good, works great, was cheaper than the Alliance case, and gave me the satisfaction of stiffing that first company for business I didn't think they deserved to get. In fact, I hope they're reading this now - they could use a lesson on what happens when you don't treat customers with some respect. :p

Olson, where did you mount the rear fan, and what size did you use. I like the looks of the case, but am disappointed in the lack of a rear fan cutout.

There is a company literally 1 mile from where I live. I bought the Full-size tower with 250 wat powersupply for $36.00. Nice case, like said above, its almost completely screwless.

I actually modded this case with three 80mm fans on the panel opposite the motherboard, and am going to put a blowhole 120mm at the top. The ventilaton is quite good and I am runnig a duron 650 @100 with no problems...
