ATX 12V Ver. 1.3 Power Supply - backwards compatible with ATX 2.03 mobo?

I noticed Enermax has a new line of power supplies that are ATX12V version 1.3 compliant. These are for the new P4 and K8 CPU's. I need a new power supply for a K7 motherboard that only has a 20-pin power supply connector on it (I believe it's an ATX 2.03 spec). So are ATX12V power supplies backwards compatible with motherboards that only have a 20-pin power supply connector on it?

You should be OK. The new spec includes sata connectors and a provision to drop the -5v output, which you don't need anyway. Check out the story for yourself at www.formfactors.org It's a good resource...
