Dunno if this is the right forum, so here goes...

I've been playing around with capturing TV proggies on my 9700 AIW and I'm not satisfied with the VCD quality. It's not a reception issue or anything like that. I want to know what the best resolution to capture in is (while keeping file sizes reasonable). Some VCD MPEG's I've downloaded look great (near DVD quality) and the file size is reasonable (~450MB for 45minutes). *That's* what I want to reproduce. I've been over to the Rage 3d, VCD Help and a couple other places, and they all give conflicting information as to what's the best resolution to capture in as well as format. I'm currently running MMC 8.1 for may capture program. I also have Virtual Dub, TPMG, and Pinnacle Studio 8.5. I only know the basics of these 3 programs so for any in-depth setting you use, please walk me through it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
