In a previously mentioned thread:
http://forums.anandtech.com/messageview.cfm?catid=38&threadid=196729
The moderator warned me by editing my post there at the top, though I'm not sure why. Anyway, later the mod's message disappeared. I then edited my post down to a period "." to make it less obtrusive. THEN, I see a moderator message BACK in my post, it reads:
Nice try Killbat

Paulson

It's now gone, edited again by the "mod".
WTF? Someone evil got a mod password?

Killbat, relax. It was just this Mod having some fun with you. ;)
Once in a while we need something to do too.

This is no joke, man. Someone's got access to the mod account OR there's a mod out to get me. :Q

a few days ago, when I clicked on a link in someone's post, it allowed me to edit their post, AS A MOD. I wrote some things, then went to the thread in a different window, and it was allowing me to edit it. I removed my "mod" comments, then who's ever thread it was edited it, but it was really wierd. after I closed that window, and tried it again, the ability dissapeared, otherwise I would have been on a rampage ;)

and no, I never have been a mod, and haven't stolen a password.

How come Killbat's message in that post precedes mine? Because it was my post. And I to saw the Moderator remarks and the thread was locked for some period last night.

Someone is definitely playing around the postings. There were some postings/replies that I swear I saw in some threads that are not there anymore.
