x2. In the big scheme of things Janets bewb means very very little to me.

This is WAY more important that the Janet deal. This was captured on tape so we should catch this guy sooner rather than later (considering all things being equal, which I know is not true). But with the hoopla about janet and cbs, this will get pushed under the paper stack just like all of the other important things in our country.

People more worried about a slip on LIVE tv (regardless whether it was planned or not), Than a little girl whom may be harmed-

Americans would much rather be outraged over Janet Jackson instead of over a kidnapping. I saw the video yesterday. I hope they find her soon. Elizabeth Smart was lucky... most of the time when gone over 72 hours... :(

Authorities are enlisting the aid of NASA in the hopes of enhancing the images from the video.

Oh, btw, it's not like the FCC can do anything about this kidnapping.

Why do you think Wahington DC is more concerned with Janet than this girl?

Hmm, let me see, maybe because every 5 minutes you see someone from the FCC saying how this (Janet Jackson) is going to be investigated fully and thouroughly. How many people from the FBI have you seen in the media vowing to resolve this kidnapping case? That's why.

It's not the FCC's job to care about 11 year olds getting kidnapped, that's what the FBI is for.

What media outlets choose to grace their front pages with is directly related to what the population in general cares about (ie what will generate traffic/ratings).

The government has nothing to do with it.

They are probably too busy actually working the case to go on tv. How much you see something on tv does not equate to how important it is in real life.

Do you have any idea how many people go missing every day?

But that is what is so concerning. I'm starting to realize why people don't like americans.

Obviously! I'm just saying because they are both government outlets.

idiots are already saying the 11year old 'asked' to be abducted because she was wearing makeup at such a young age. They have also commented that her jeans look tight and her top is low cut...both of which are about the only styles all kids wear today.

Some also say when a woman wears a skirt she does so because it's for easy sex

idiots....

Are there not many abductions in the USA? Or does this case have something special that led to the national coverage?

Isn't it terrible that thanks to Susan whatever her last name and also Scott Peterson, the first thing I wondered when I saw the parents was "Were they involved in her abduction?"

Just once I'd like to find such an idiot and personally whack him or her upside the head with a 2x4.

My daughter is eleven and this sick bastard is the type I try to protect my kids from all the time. I hope she's ok and this SOB doesn't make it to trial. Otherwise they will eventually let him out and he'll have the opportunity to do it again. Absolutely disgusting. What is wrong with some people?

It's receiving national attention because the actual abduction was caught on a security camera behind a car wash. You can see the guy in some type of uniform (almost like a UPS uniform....but it's not) and the girl seems to go almost willingly with him.

I was thinking it looked more like a mechanics or garage uniform. Makes me sick every time I watch the vid though. Poor kid.

My daughter will be 11 in the summer. because of asshats like this we never let her walk anywhere alone. when she walks home from school she has her sister and other friends that she has to walk with. if she walks 3 blocks down to her friends house either me or my wife is out in the yard watching her the whole way.

I hope they catch this co*ksucker and instead of putting him in prison, they let the family have their way with him. Trust me if that was my daughter and given the chance i would make Uday & Qusay Hussian puke for what i would do to him.

I average a few a day/week...just that my 'other' comments get the most attention. :)
