Im really intrested in purchasing a computer my friend bought a barebones kit fro tigerdirect with a soyo dragon plus and overclocking was easy,ive built computers before and built my one and only current computer 550 mhz :( can you guys recommen a good website?that sells bare bone kits?or has good deals on mobos/w proc?

i guess 400 dollers im not including monitors mice keyboards cd drives or hardrives,unless its a packaage deal i already have a videocard and everything i preety much witll buy and then drop in a new hardrive i got everthing else handeled

so you have everything cept motherboard/cpu/case/psu? u can get a lot with $400, esp if you check the hot deals forums

You're probably going to have to upgrade your RAM too...unless that 550mhz CPU uses DDR Ram, which I doubt. Add another$60-150 dollars depending on how much you want.

Here - Not the best prices, but i'm kind of partial to them as everything comes with a 3 year warranty. I've had to RMA my board to them, and they were very quick on the turnaround, and even sent me back a better board because the one i had wasn't in stock anymore.

Other than that, another vote for newegg. Can't go wrong, always great prices.

550mhz is my current computer iw ant a new computer no less than a 1700 xp i already have the cd drive for the new computer,vid card,soundcard,i just need the case cpu mobo and ram.oh and i might buy a harddrive retail i guess

I took the easy way out and bought one on uBid. It's a Athlon XP 1.8, 512 PC133, 40GB HD, 64MB video card, 12xdvd/40xcd, nic, etc... for $429. Of course you'll have to bid on one. It's not the greatest system but I don't play video games. Works for my needs.

what?!?!haha no in a post where i was asking people what cars they had i mentioned all the addons i had to my car and said how the whoel exterior of the car preety much the appearnce is stock i want lowprofile light wheels not for astetics but performance all the work on that v6 is useless when the power isnt delivered to the ground properly,i have a geforce 2 ti oced help me with my ram questions!!this is what i emailed to the people at monarch the company someone above recomended Im intrested in purchasing a amd based desktop with no less than a 1900xp i already have all the components i only require a case with a ps,the mother board,processor,and ram.Im very confused about 333 and 266 and the purchasing of ram i wanted to order FS-710 BB/Enermax C-10300 ATX w/350 Watt Power Supply along side the motherboard i do alot of graphical work and gaming and was wondering what kind of mother board would be ideal for me i would like to know which is the best i plan to only have 256 mb of ddr ram but do not know which is ideal 2100,2400 or 3000 and if i could even use it with my purchase.Id appreciate any help it would allow me to place an order with you as soon as possible.
