I need to get an active NB cooler since pretty much im running the stock one. Would appreciate some feedback on what you are using and the results compared to stock.

The Asus has a nice big passive cooler on it. If you want better cooling, why not just attach a 40x40x20mm fan on top of it?
 
Looks like the BR123 is what most seller have as far as brackets are concern. Might go that route and add a quiet Panaflo 80mm L1A to it directly over the NB .. thanks guys for the 411 😛
 
I am using a Thermaltake Tiger 1.

It says that it is for the 845 chipset but it was the only fan/heatsink that I could find that used the same attachment mechanism.
