Like Im going to buy two $300 video cards.

What a waste!

Give me at least 4 PCI slots if you insist on dual video, but dont take one away! :|

They have budget chipsets for a reason.
It's for people who only want one PCIe x16 slot.

So what youre trying to say is that if I dont fork over $600+ for two stupid video cards, I own a "budget" system?

Hogwash!

The 965 chipset has a single vid card slot. Buy it or don't, it's your choice. I regret not getting an SLI board since I am using none of my PCI slots right now (X-Fi drivers scare me) but when I upgrade later, I most likely will get an SLI board. Since the 7900 GT could use a companion probably!

By the time you put in a companion, a next gen video will be out (6-12 month cycles). Why even bother with a 7800 SLI when you can just fork over for a 7900?
