I didn't know they had snipes as far west as Texas. I thought they were confined to the Appalachian mountains. Good hunting.

Ahh, the joy of killing the helpless. Ma and pa use the shotgun, but that's the sissy way. I try to even out the fight (when hunting them deer and varmints) so I done and made me some antlers and I try to run after them and jab them with it until they die. "Die you varmints, die!" (Sorry, gettin in the mood of the killing, y'all) Pa said we are thinning the herds for their own health, so we be doing some important work. We also need the extra meat to feed ma, or she gets squirly. No one likes ma when she's squirly.

Don't hunt anymore but used to.....12ga side by side for dove/quail.
Mag. 22 rifle for squirrel.
Never got into hunting turtles....something about killing something that is twice my age for fun and food just doesn't sit right w/me.
That 26lb snapping turtle someone mentioned earlier was probably over 50 yrs old.

ps..they're right about the parts still moving hours later.

I agree... Hunting/eating turtles greatly disturbs me. Maybe because I've always had snakes/turtles as pets.

I like to fish like crocadile dundee.
TNT, it's dynamite. TNT... oh sorry started signing again.
If I go deer hunting I usually strap a couple of KC lights on my truck. See the more lights you have the more petrified the deer gets then I run into them at full speed. Most of the time the head just pops off for easy mounting.

I just bought a Ruger MarkII 30-06 for deer season this year, before that a semiauto .280. I use a Remmington 870 mag for bird hunting/skeet.
