🙁

I got the main speakers and surrounds working..but I can't get the center channel and sub working -- it has two separate inputs on the receiver, and one output on the sound card (for center/sub). Do I need a splitter and two mono cables? I have a stereo cable in it now, and neither one is working.. Sound card is TBSC..receiver is Kenwood VR-407..

If your sound card has a single center/speaker output, then that has to be stereo, so you need a splitter.

The other thing to check is if your receiver has those inputs enabled. Make sure it's set to 5.1 sound or whatever.

It's set to 6-channel DVD (5.1). The front left/right and rear left/right work, but I get nothing from the center & sub. I need a splitter and two mono cables, then?
