ATTN: Hot Deals users... Washing Machines?

I've never tried to buy such a large appliance over the internet. Should I even attempt it? I've gotten such good deals on other things over the net that I recently vowed never to buy anything in a store again. Retail is for chumps, imho.

I bought 2 fridges and a dryer from Sams Club online. I'm planning to buy new bedroom furniture along with living room sofas from Costco online.

I prefer buying large items at a retail store but selection is sometimes limited.

If you buy the appliance from a reputable dealer, and shipping doesn't cost an arm and a leg, I'd say go for it. Keep in mind any offers from retailers, though, dealing with possible free delivery and setup.

I'm capable of setting up, I have a minivan to put the box in... I was looking at a Sears one. I'll check out Costco. Any other vendors?

CostCo for sure I saw some amazing deals on top and front loading machines.

They also had energy efficient rebates as well up to $100.
