I read about him in the newspaper once. He makes a TON of money off HSN and he claims he's this master guitar player who took lessons under this MASTER master guitar player. And when the newspaper interviews the MASTER master guitar player, he said the HSN guy is a loser and a complete fake.

A good one. There are more and less difficult solo styles and passages in all music forms. The best ones are tasteful and take the audience to another level of appreciation above the song, itself.What really is the hardest solo?

I remember hearing Randy Rhoads say he considered "Dee" his most challenging work. Personally, I don't see it....but I don't play either.
I also seem to remember Eddie Van Halen considered "Push Comes To Shove" his most challenging (at the time anyway).
