If you don't have their latest CD, get it! Faceless is an awesome album. Maybe even their best (but I need a few weeks with it to rank it accurately.)

I have it on my PDA, but I forgot my headphones today. Ugh.

i agree, its a pretty kickass album. can't tell quite yet if its their best.

they have a really good formula going, but im beginning to see the same things repeated in their songs. hopefully they don't get into a rut of everything sounding the same and every song having the same idea. BUT, i really like it. looking forward to seeing them in milwaukee in may.

Well, Godsmack surely isn't going to be a band for the ages... They'll put out 4 or 5 albums and then go out of style.

But it sure will be fun while it lasts.

I do like the album but it's sounds soooo much the same as the others and most songs sond very alike as well... not much variety here.

Exactly. It's not musical or diversely expressive, even. It's loud, blasted, uncomplicated distorted guitars, hard hitting perc and rough (but not that rough) lyrics.
Just a simple forumula, really.. it's working for them, though, and I do find it diggable if not particularly respectable.
