ATTN: Freesco Users TROJAN ALERT!

I did an online virus scan usingHousecall and I found a trojan contained in the zip file of the freesco v026 and 027.
TROJ NCX99.A

Now correct me if Im wrong, but this would be a trojan? If this is the case please be aware that I downloaded te file form the feesco homepage. I would recommend highly that you do a virus scan if you uses freesco. Hopefully Im just one of the unlucky ones and this trojan isnt rampant.

Would deleting the file itself destroy the trojan? Or would I have to take other measures, liek reformatting?

If you have not opened (unzipped) the file yet, then simply deleting the file should remove the virus from your system, but I'd run another scan afterwards, just to be safe. I'm not familiar with that Housecall program, but if it provides for a way to clean viruses, then you should be able to simply run that on the ZIP file to remove the bad code...

Humm, nothing even similar is in my NAV 2K DB. Are you sure Housecall isn't spazing out?:Q

Well I also did a scan of my c: partition which also has a copy of freesco, and the same virus was shown. Maybe Im hte only one. Hopefully
