Hi. I apologize if this was posted elsewhere.

I lived in FL from 1988 until around 2000. I just got in my PO box today a class action settlement claim form.

The settlement provides benefits to consumers and businesses that purchased licenses for Microsoft® operating system, productivity suite, spreadsheet or word processing software between Nov. 16, 1995, and Dec. 31, 2002, for use in the state of Florida

Here are some links:

One site that has the legal documents listed (or typed out) is not responding, but here is a google cached link:

I urge any consumer (or system builder that can prove their purchase of licensed copies or even volume-licensed copies) that legally purchased MS products to check their mailbox for this settlement form, or contact MS or either of these law firms:

Attn: Dan Hume, Esq.
830 Third Ave.
Tenth Floor
New York, NY 10022

or

http://www.lfwlaw.com/
Attn: Robin Graves, Esq.
The Clarke Building
400 20th Street North
Birmingham, AL 35203

Products covered include:

MS-DOS
Windows 95
Windows 98
Windows ME
Windows 2000
Windows XP
Windows NT
MS Office

Upon settlement, successful claimants will receive vouchers good towards purchase of qualifying hardware or software.

Again I apologize if this has already been posted. I think its very important for anyone who did purchase MS products to put their name in this settlement. Not solely to get money/vouchers. But to show MS that yes, their trade practices and pricing schemes have been unfair.

Thank you,
