I have been following this issue kinda close, so there are a couple of things people need to keep in mind. The cold boot issue has been talked about quite a bit, but it seems to not have any consistent pattern. So I do believe that this will be fixed with a bios update as cold boot issues are nothing new to motherboards. Now as far as the 5 volt problem I believe this is kinda bogus. Up until last week it was not even mentioned as being a board problem as a matter of fact it was never even mentioned as a problem. Then all of a sudden one post is made and now all of sudden this story gets legs. Many of the people burned out their memory then wanted to blame this so called problem on the board. And if you read many of the posts like I have these folks are even feeding their memory voltages even beyond what the manufacturers consider safe, voltages in excess of 3.5 volts. So while I am not saying one way or another that there is something to this, it was started by just one poster posting a supposed reply from a DFI tech after he burned out his memory. There are so many folks running off the 5 volt jumper without issue I tend to go with the belief that those who have had problems have experienced the truth about overclocking, it is and always will be done at your own risk. The cold boot seems to be an issue, rather small one, but the 5 volt jumper one I don't think is valid at all. This is just my observation because I have been following the boards and issues closely before I make my decision on what to buy.
