Need some names of some nice restaurants with good atmosphere and good food. A little fancy, not too fancy. I'm still just a poor college student, but I have a little saved up for this, am ok with spending up to 100 for 2. Preferrably near the Northwestern campus. TIA. 🙂

Occasion: Girlfriend's birthday

I'm not too much of a restaurant conoisseur but what kind of restaurant were you looking for, food wise?

Probably seafood, but it doesn't matter too much, as long as it's authentic.

Dude, you HAVE to go to HEAVEN ON SEVEN, it is the most amaazing cajun food you will ever have!!!!! WOW, and, try Fontanos for a good sub, and LUKES for the most amazing beef sandwich you will ever have, I love downtown food! If you want gourmet no-sauce pizza, try Scouzi's

Heaven on Seven wasn't really all that, but I'm a vegetarian so my options were limited. 😛

Daruma (Sushi) on Central.

Carson's Ribs (great pork chops too) in Skokie.

Bob Chinn's Crabhouse in Wheeling (not close by, but incredibly good).

Carmen's Pizza

Is Pete Miller's Steakhouse still around?

I'm a meat eater ...

Gibson's ,,, Rush St. (very noisey on weekends thou ,,, a piano man in Eve's)
Mortons ,,, State St. (dress accordingly)
(both have seafood also .. huge lobster! )

Scoozi (Sp?) is supposed to be a hotspot.

Just pick a place while walking north on Rush St.
(you both will like the choices I think)

CONFIRMED!

Gotta check out the Weber Grill restaurant. If nothing else, just to see how they cook EVERYTHING in the restaurant on their grills. And it's damn good.

oh yeah, forgot about Weber, check them out, I hear its good eats. Chicago has the best food. If you are willing to try new pizza, theres plenty of variety around the city in that field as well

weber is good, so is Lawrys

if you want the best food in chicago, hit up Charlie Trotter's

yeah, pretty good but very noisy...

If you want more romantic candle lit, then definitely go to Shaw's Crabhouse (Not to be confused with Joe's crabshack!!) They have seafood and hardcore meat...

if you are looking for more of a fun night out, I would recommend going to Buca di Beppo and make reservations for the kitchen table...great food, huge portions, a lot of fun! It's a lot of fun to eat at the kitchen table!!!!!

Sabri Nehari on Devon Ave.

order sabri nihari.

edit: they also have goat brain if you want to give that a shot 😛
