As some of you know, my wifey has an ongoing musical collaboration with a friend of ours known as Kabao.

They'll be playing this coming Friday at one of the new "spots" in Atlanta, Django. with DJ Chris Coleman. I'm guessing they'll go on later in the evening (more than likely after 11pm or so).

$5 cover, doors open at 9pm. 🙂

More info and directions.

Thanks for the sticky!

*****PSA: they should be onstage around 10:45pm.*******

If anyone is considering it, I went and saw her last time Fausto posted about her playing. Very talented 🙂.

I think a more catchy name for the band would be: Fausto and the G-strings :Q :Q

Seriously, though, I wanted to check the site out for the band, but your link doesn't work.

Fixed, sorry. 😱

Just constructive criticism, but their web site leaves much to be desired.
I know. I've been harassing Robert to spiff it up, but he doesn't seem to have time/interest.

I'll be coming in from Anderson, SC.
If you have a more accurate stage time for the Band, please post it.

See ya.
Like I said, it'll be fairly late (like 11pm or so). I'll ask the wifey if there will be a more exact time for the show and get back to you. 🙂

This was definitely worth the drive. The music was more than just interesting, it was good, if you're into stuff like "Everything but the Girl". Allison sings very well. In fact she gets extra bonus points for singing well INSPITE of the monitors. Apparently they couldn't hear the vocals relative to the key and synth tracks very well at all, and she NEVER ONCE mentioned it. KUDOS to her for pereservering in the face of adversity in a most professional manner. I have worked with "stars" who have made it a point of pointing out such difficencies (sic?) to no real end other than to make everyone look bad. Bravo, Allison!!!!
There were a lot of very nice looking women and young ladies there and I HAVE PICS to prove it. I even made the aquaintence of one of them, a friend of Allison, whose name is Kat. Which I find very interesting because I just love Cats of all descriptions. And Kat is quite attractive, however, with my luck, there's probably a BF or something I didn't find out about, given the late nature of our introduction.....
But you alll will have to wait until tomorrow for the pics, as I have an early appointment with my boss and his nephew's band up in Tennessee and I need to get to sleep.
