Can any Japanese text be written in Hiragana? Why learn Kanji? It's SOO complex. Why not just write everything in hiragana?
 
im not sure but i think it's b/c of homonyms.

kanji makes the meaning of the sentence pretty damn clear.

and i agree, it's a major PITA to learn it all.
