The screenshots I've seen were far less impressive. In fact, they didn't look too much better than the Gamecube, at least nowhere near the magnitude of change between the ps2 and the ps3 or the xbox to the xbox360. If this screenshot is of actual ingame graphics, then I would be very impressed. Otherwise I fear for the revolution; unless it has some revolutionary feature, I don't know if it can compete with the other systems.

that scene isn't THAT impressive for the new systems. Ability to play games from NES to Revolution, then the mysterious controller Nintendo isn't going to show us until they know M$ and Sony couldn't quickly scrounge something up and copy.

They did say they were already working on Metroid, Mario and Zelda titles for the Revolution, however I'd think it'd be a little early to have anything like this to be considered real. It looks almost too artistic to be an in game shot.

BY this logic the Xbox should have dominated the consoles, because it could outperform the PS2 and GC specs-wise.

Did they? I think not - we'll just have to wait and see who has the better software out there - I'm guessing the PS3 is a safe bet, bu the Xbox had some doozies - and who knows, Nintendo might figure it out (finally) and get off their lazy GBA-pushing ass and do something as far as 3rd-party support is concerned.

Screenshots? Sounds like someone is getting the new Zelda for the GC, mixed with this next-gen Zelda title.

Yea, ... I'm just waiting for Xbox360 and PS3. I was never into the Nintendo consoles as a kid. Just NES -> Genesis -> PS1 -> Dreamcast -> PS2.

QFT, amen
You guys keep thinking that, all the while missing out on some great games such as Forza Motorsport, Resident Evil 4, God of War, etc.

And those of us who choose to NOT limit our choices will enjoy those right along side the PC games. :)

I think what you saw were screens of the new Gamecube Zelda. That one in the OP looked like a totally different engine & it looked quite breathtaking.

Xbox is the leading seller of consoles in North America right now.
