Yepp, UCLA starts Sept. 29th and so do most of the other UCs except for Berkeley! They start a month early, that also includes USC too.

UCLA is in the UC system (public). USC is a private school. Better known? It depends in which area you're talking about.

i'll choose ucla over usc. USC is in the ghetto part of downtown la. ucla is in westwood, home of the $1800 for two bedroom apartments.

so u'd make the decision based on the area that surrounds the school? but it doesn't dictate that usc's student body heavily draws from its immediate surroundings does it... u still have to compete and get in there right.

ghetto as in run down, or less posh when you compare it to westwood?

Yeah, USC's student body isn't reflective of its surroundings.

USC is pretty nice, as most private schools are (and should be).
