In a more academic message, I think the normalization of Christianity in Western culture has allowed us to separate Timothy McVeigh from Christianity and not allowed us to separate OBL from Islam. Same concept as identifying someone as "that guy" if he's white or "that black guy" if hes AA. I don't like it, but I'm guessing that the deal
