It's not hard to find new burners for $15 w. promo code. Sometimes I buy a few at that price just to have, but I've not been building as many PCs as I used to. But seeing as there is one drive almost always on sale at that price. all you usually have to do is wait a few days.

Yep. I've been able to get one in my list every Sunday for the path couple months without even looking too hard.

Original Post below:

NYF,

You might want to swap optical drive for mfenn's, he found a comparable LG for $15 w/ promo:

Yeah, get that I guess. Thank you for making my life and work miserable. What is so important about you people and what you have to say? You people arent important.

Totally uncalled-for. There was nothing hurtful about Essence's post.

NYF, what do you think of the G3258? Seems like it might be a good entry point for someone who wants to go with an Intel system on a budget.

G3258 benchmark thread:
http://forums.anandtech.com/showthread.php?t=2387689

The main concern I have about recommending an FM2 system is that, afaik, the highest performing CPU would be an A10-7850, which is not bad, but has similar performance to a lower-end Sandy Bridge i5, and it's main claim to fame is its iGPU, which wouldn't be used in a system like this. An LGA 1150 system would leave the door open for much higher CPU performance, should it become desired.

I'd love to see you create an Intel alternative for those who want it, but it's your thread.

I like it, but waiting for it to be released on 6/26. Next weeks build will most likely include it.

Maybe I will create a buuld for AMD fans and another for Intel fans.
