For the love of mercy and little fuzzy chickies, the toilet paper is supposed to be loaded so that the loose dangly end of the paper goes over the top and hangs from the front side of the roll, just as the Founding Fathers intended. If the dangly end is hanging from the back side (the side facing the wall), please remove the roll, give it a quick 180 degree turn, and re-insert.

Thank you,
NuclearNed

*we have a new janitor at work that is unversed in the fine art of correct TP loading.

I like the end in the front, so it's kinda looks like: p| p = toilet paper and | = wall

That is a beautiful drawing. It summarizes everything I am feeling after reading this thread well.

Doesn't really matter at my place of employment, they have those arms that hold the TP out and away from the wall. I happy as long as their is enough and it doesn't look like it's been half rerolled up.

I like the end in the front, but if I inadvertantly put it in backwards I usually wont fix it until the next roll goes in. Lately the roll's been sitting on the back of the toilet because I accidently threw away the spring-loaded spindle thingy and don't know where to get a new one.

if there's no ass gaskets around, I like for the tp to hang out the front so I can grab copious amounts to protect myself. Otherwise, I don't care. Half the time I end up removing the whole roll, because when I try to pull it down, the sheet will tear off before I can get enough for complete rectal coverage..

If you have young kids or pets, it's better to have the TP hanging down on the wall side.

Thta way, when pets start spinning it, top down, it just goes round and round instead of unrolling. I witnessed this effect on some homevideo show on either animal planet or AFV, can't remember. Not an issue for me. Sure they can push up on it and unravel it that way, but, less likely it seems.

I voted doesn't matter option.

How bad is it if I actually switch them around at work so they hang this way? I mean, I'm just sitting there ANYWAY, and it bugs me when it's improperly done...
