9/4 UPDATE!
Its done! I bought a certified pre-owned 2003 G35 in pristine condition for $26,137. It has everything except for heated seats (I think the 2003 model didnt have that feature) and the Navi system. But I got the Bose system, sun/moon roof, all leather, 6 disk CD changer, OMFG its incredible. There is still plenty a warranty on it!
Thats to everyone that helped. Pictures will be posted very soon
9/4 UPDATE!
Ok guys, I've had to come down to earth a little bit. I didnt buy the car, dispite the great deal. I actually want something in the $25 range. I test drove the 2004 accord, fully loaed minus the nav system. It was nice, it aint no G35, but its also about $10k cheaper. I have a wedding and a house to save up for. So, anyways, here is my question to you all. Whats a good car for about $25. Please, stop the argueing and please please stop hi-jacking my #$@#$#@$@#$@# thread!
kthnx
9/2 UPDATE!
Ok guys, I just test drove the automatic and I am FLOORED! Wow! What an awesome car! I love how you can manually shift the automatic w/o the clutch. Anyways, he's quoted me now $32,990 with the following options:
- Navigational system
- Premium package (includes leather, chrome, heated seats, 6-disk CD changer, Bose system)
- Splash guards
- Trunk mat
Anyone want to buy a 1993 RX-7 for $15k?
Must be within 2 weeks.
9/1 UPDATE!
Infiniti sales rep just called me after I submitted my prefference via carsdirect.com earlier today (surprised at the response time) and said he has a price.
He said he will give me invoice price of $33,174
- Navigational system
- Leather
- Premium package
- Bose system
What do you guys think?
---------------------------------------------------
I want to sell my RX-7. Yes, I know its my other girl, but its time to move on. There are several reasons for it, but I wont bore you with the details. I've always wanted a BMW and I'm thinking about moving to something in the 3 series. My question to you guys is this:
1) How much should I ask for my car. Its a 1993 RX-7. New engine built by an extremely reputal shop, Tripoint Enginnering ( http://www.tripointengineering.com ) about 2 years ago. It now has a little under 20,000 miles on the engine. Its in extremely good condition inside and out. I'll take some picture tomorrow maybe so you guys can see. I'm at work right now and don't have any on me.
2) What do you think of the BMW 3 series. How does it compare to the Audi Quatro? Is there another equivenant?
3) I'm sure this question gets asked alot, but when is the best time to go to a dealership and get a car. Last day of the month, an hour or two before they close?
Someone I work with got a 2002 325ci in great shape for $26K. It has 50k miles on it which is a hell of alot, but I'm thinking if I can get $20-$25k for my RX, I'm happy and then can put some money towards a pretty big down payment.
