That looks like fun. Have a Stone Ruination and Arrogant Bastard for me. Alot of good breweries in there.

Stone > Abita. While I enjoyed the Abita, I found Stone to have more extrordanary beers.

So at a beer festival you would ONLY stop at the Stone area?

Of course not. But that would be one of the only that I'd stop at of the one's I've already had.

I can't get Stone where I live so it's my precious right now. I had a bottle of Ruination that I had been saving for several months. It was dropped on the driveway before it was opened. I almost cried.

that is some good stuff. actually, i plan to reacquaint myself with stone soon. their brewery that is a few miles away is actually moving down the freeway a bit to a bigger facility where they'll have a restaurant and such. cant wait for that.

Is the entry fee $12 for the entire weekend, or each visit. Twelve bucks for a night, plus a dollar per 6 oz. serving looks pretty damn steep.

It covers the whole weekend.... and the breweries arent too strict on the $1 policy. I've been going for the last 3-4 years. I intend to try as many damn breweries as I can.... I will not be driving... volvo or otherwise

$3 for 18 oz. micro doesn't seem steep to me. Maybe I'm just used to being gouged living in Chicago.

No kidding. You can drink a LOT of beer for $30. That would buy me no more than 6 beers at my favorite pub NOT including tip.

<--Extremely jealous.

If I didn't have so much to do this weekend, I'd consider taking a train or Chinatown bus down to DC.

Ha ha, I'm totally going there tommorow for my 22nd Birthday.

Make sure you try the Starr Hill Amber Ale. I just graduated from UVa, Starr Hill Brewery is down in C'ville. South Street is too but I never had any of their stuff. I'm so pumped for this!
