I try to make it to a buddy's house who holds a LAN once a month in my hometown of Springfield. I also attended Quakecon in 2007. Both were awesome!

very cool Golgatha! I used to have pretty regular LAN's at my house, had up to 18 people once (that gets busy!) - definitely time for another one! :)

We have 8-12 at any given time. Closer to 12 when I make it in. I think I inspire them to pack up and take their stuff across town, since I'm making a 3 hour one-way trip to come play for a weekend :).

I used to play with another group based in Nixa, which has since disbanded, once a month during my college years. We'd have 20-40 people in the basement of a bank in the hayday of that group.

And they wonder why us 30 something year olds are just a bit miffed about no LAN play in certain games (or upcoming games...cough...SC2...cough).

Back in high school we had 20-40 people LANs at least once a month...now I just LAN with my little brother, and a few friends....hard to find people that want to LAN, and aren't batshit crazy.

Intel LAN should come to MPLS.

@ViviTheMage - LANFest does stretch far and wide: Oregon, California, Washington... even Massachusetts! but you don't just need Intel to set it up - grab some gamers and make it a party! w00t!
