Just heard it on the radio. Apparently, an attempted hijacking of an Italian jetliner failed. Looking for link.....

What's so strange about hijacking a plane on its way to France? Who'd want to go to France in the first place?

Cause the guy probably realized he got on the wrong plane and was trying to avoid ending up in Paris

The dumbass probably thought he'd be on a plane full of French surrender monkeys. I guess he was wrong.
Why am I having a hard time believing that this guy is actually al Qaeda? He took over the plane, announced he was a member of Al Qaeda, forced the pilot to fly to France, and then surrendered. Well at least he didn't hurt anybody.
same here, he probably just wanted the fly crew to take him seriouslyOriginally posted by: sward666

It looks like in this case hijacking did work. The passengers and crew did exactly what he wanted, which is not what I would have expected post 9/11.
Actually the viking who found america and his whole family was pretty rotten. First they were banished from Norway, they came to Iceland. Then they were banished from Iceland, they came to Greenland. Then part of them went to America and lasted only one vinter there before being banished. Then later for some reason every viking who was living in Greenland suddenly just disapeared.Originally posted by: theNorseman

Lucky it wasn't coming from France. Pilots and crew would have surrendered.Originally posted by: Skyclad1uhm1
