Do this if you have AT&T Broadband and your cable connection refuses to access new websites after about six different sites in a single session of Windows.
In 2000, go to administrative tools in your control panel. Then, open Services. Now right click on "DNS Client" and open properties. Change startup type to manual, and then press the stop button under Service Status. The fix is similar in XP, and I'll post that tomorrow.
