Attackers install highly persistent malware implants on Cisco routers

This is different than the typical malware found on consumer routers, which gets wiped from memory when the device is restarted.
I think the Linksys E1200 has to have a complete new upload of the latest firmware to wipe the worm. I've seen these infected routers try to attack my website.

I'm going to forward these links to my host so that the IT there know about this. Not sure if they use Cisco equipment.
