As I was waking across campus today, I was stopped by a man from a black church (they had a sign that read: "God hates fags. All other religions are false. Etc." And I was reading it for entertainment value.) He asked me if I was interested in the Bible he was holding and pointing to, and I told him that I was sorry, but I am an Athiest.

He quoted a bible verse along the lines of, "the Lord says that believers in all other religions are fools." I replied, "and the Scott says, 'believers in Christianity are fools too.'" I don't think he was expecting me to say something because he looked a little shocked.

After, some kid thanked me and told me the verse he had quoted to him.

This is one spark that is getting put out before it turns into an all out flame war.

Lol, wow... I feel bad for people not lucky enough to be in the northeast/west coast.
 
I heard about those guys. They are not christians but rather fools. Real Christians are not fools.
 
This reminds me when I was 3 years old and the babysitter found out I was Jewish and said I was going to hell. I said back that there was no hell or heaven. This seemed to have shocked her. After that had I no more babysitters I was left home alone when my parents were out.
 
They suck, but so do Atheists that feel the need to tell every non-atheist that he/she is an idiot.
 
By saying "believers in Christianity are fools too" how are you any better than those fake Christians?
 
where's the attack part of the story, I was envisioning a group of grandmotherly types flinging copies of the old testament at your back as you ran down the street
