Every reputable news source is pinning the rocket attacks on Iranian backed militias.

They're repeating what the Trump Admin is telling them. There's no evidence linking the rocket attack to the militias, merely accusation. Shee-it. Shia militias were & are part & parcel of the Iraqi govt's efforts against ISIS. That's why they're out there by the Syrian border in what otherwise has been a Sunni dominated region. But fuck that. What the Iraqi govt wants doesn't matter when you're frothing up domestic sentiment, so bombs away, motherfuckers!

Iran getting pay back, that last round of protests they had really pissed Tehran off. They're into reciprocity.

Iran and it's Shia militas want to be able to kill Americans without repercussions. Tough shit. Don't worry, I'm sure it's another situation Trump can make worse like he does with everything.

It's sad that people will believe so easily. Step back & examine the information. First off, it's important to understand that these militias answer to the Iraqi govt. They are a parallel branch of the armed forces. They're out there on the Syrian border as part of the effort against ISIS, where the govt sent them. It's also where we bombed. That's about 200 miles away from where the rocket attack occurred near Kirkuk. The Trump admin merely said it was them when it could have been a lot of people, so bombs away & blame the Iranians.

Which rightfully pisses off Iraqis in general, leading to protests at the Embassy in Baghdad. Iraqi security stepped out of the way, letting them past the first layer of security. It certainly wasn't an attack by the militia, given that they didn't even bring guns. Burning things when they get frustrated is common with mideast protesters.

I mean, it's the Trump admin, fer crissakes. They lie about everything else, so why not this?

Looks like we just executed Iran’s “most revered military leader” in an air strike at Baghdad’s airport??

Like I said in the Quds thread...the price of oil and gas has been dropping...stir up unrest...get prices back up.
Can't be allowing the poors to be keeping more of their money...

Apparently so-

Maybe if The Trump Admin can start a war it will distract from their troubles at home.... The Iraqi govt has to be shitting themselves. Their people aren't about to put up with this kind of bullshit, I suspect.

Given the history and stated mission of the Quds Force, which he commanded, your concern is either because you are naive or stupid.
You have already had it explained to you in the other thread about why he has been in Iraq frequently. Your complete lack of awareness of what the religious and political landscape in Iraq is currently is on full display in both threads.

Don’t need to. The breaking news of Soleimani’s presence in Bagdad now proves what was already obvious.

Try being specific, OK? What "obvious" thing are you talking about? He was there as an honored guest of a branch of the Iraqi military, the PMF forces. You know, people we bombed cuz they was looking at us funny...

This is more about getting reelected than the price of oil. The price of oil will just be a nice side benefit.

Definitely took a jump today. Even though we are pumping oil like there is no tomorrow, so the exploration companies can pay back all of the money they borrowed. They were barely making any money. Now things are looking up. Thanks Trump.
